Prison governor denies affair with drug dealer

A former Lancashire prison governor accused of being in a relationship with a drug-dealer gang boss said she has always been a “hands-on” person but denied any wrongdoing. While serving as a governor at HMP Kirkham, she allegedly signed off his temporary release without proper authority.
