Self-defining memories in male alcohol-dependent patients

Turkey’s Kırıkkale University et al found that the content of the memories of men with alcohol dependence is more about relationships, alcohol, substance or tobacco use and less about achievement and exploration/recreation memories. Men with alcohol dependence had higher depressive symptoms and lower self-esteem and mood regulation than the comparison group.
