Australia: meth/amphetamine-related deaths 2001-2020

The number of meth/amphetamine related deaths in Australia quadrupled in the past 20 years, mainly due to drug toxicity and suicide by people in their 30s and 40s, Monash University et al  found. As Generation X ages, meth/amphetamine-related natural deaths, especially from cardiovascular disease, are likely to rise.
