Canada’s University of Alberta et al confirmed there is a substantial increase in deaths that involve both opioids and stimulants in the 3rd wave of the opioid epidemic in North America. “These findings are a call to action for public health policymakers to develop strategies for addressing both opioid and stimulant use epidemics simultaneously.”
