NSDUH data: weed addiction almost doubled in kids

The National Survey on Drug Use and Health serves as the gold standard when it comes to tracking US public health trends. The latest NSDUH showed that, from 2014-2024, cannabis use disorder among kids aged 12-17 rose from 2.7% to 4.7%, a 74% increase. That’s a rise from 667,000 kids to 1.2million kids with CUD.
