Paramedics and alcohol violence

Stirling University academics interviewed 31 paramedics, technicians and senior staff at the Scottish Ambulance Service. They heard testimony of unpredictable behaviour from intoxicated patients, with staff also regularly subjected to violence and harassment from bystanders. One asks “Will I make it home tonight?” the BBC reported.
