Went to rehab – now runs a $900million company

Kristina Saffran was sent to a rehabilitation facility multiple times to fight her eating disorder. She recovered using a treatment plan called family-based therapy and went on to start a company based on the same approach: Equip, valued at almost $900million, by financial data platform Pitchbook. Equip is a fully virtual eating disorder treatment program.
