Tackling Minds, founded in 2020 by Dave Lyons, uses fishing to help those facing mental health issues, addiction recovery and social isolation – and was presented with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest accolade such an organisation can receive in the UK, Angling Times reported.
