From addiction to becoming an MP

From addiction and sleeping on a park bench to becoming the MP representing that same park, Canada’s @kellyderiddermp story is one of resilience, recovery, and hope. She introduced Bill C-240, giving people struggling with addiction access to rehabilitation while in jail. The bill has unanimously passed the House of Commons and is now headed to committee.
