Lawsuit vs “unlawful” marijuana rescheduling

3 Republican state attorneys general filed a lawsuit challenging the federal cannabis rescheduling action announced by the US Department of Justice in April. They claim that it “fails to comport with the requirements” of federal law, “was improperly promulgated and was otherwise procedurally improper”, “exceeds or is inconsistent with pertinent authority” and “is arbitrary, capricious, an abuse of discretion, and not in accordance with law”.
