80% of hemp-THC products are illegal marijuana

Researchers from 3 US universities checked if the THC advertised on hemp edible labels was from hemp: for 4 out of 5 products, the arithmetic didn’t work. 80% of delta-9 THC edibles sold to US consumers as federally compliant hemp “would have to contain mathematically impossible portions of cannabis”. This has “substantial regulatory and public health implications”.
