Harvard Medical School, Yale University et al revealed large gaps in care for youths with opioid use disorder. With Mass General Brigham, they used 8 years of national data from 229,847 adolescents and young adults – and found that only 1/2 began treatment, 1/3 engaged in care, 1/6 received medication and 1 in 32 continued medication for 180 days or more.
