NHS: art and music classes replace prescription drugs in bid to tackle addiction

Instead of prescribing patients painkillers like tramadol or codeine, NHS England plans sending patients to classes in art, music or gardening to prevent an opioid crisis like the US, after a review by Public Health England found 1 in 4 adults were prescribed addictive medications, reported Pulse, the Times and Fife Today.
