Medicaid to pay for drug treatment in prisons

Soon, the federal government will allow states to use Medicaid funds to treat prisoners for drug addiction and mental health. Dr Rahul Gupta, director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, said states are being encouraged to submit proposals.
