Heat linked to fatal overdoses

Yale School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine investigated the link between heat exposure and drug overdose deaths on a national scale. Some drug use can increase body temperature, impair a user’s ability to recognize and respond to overheating, and compound adverse effects of overheating.
