Drug spike detector for vapes

Scotland Yard is piloting ‘gamechanging’ substance-detection technology to counter surging spiking offences in London. The one-of-a-kind portable ‘vape testing kit’ was designed by the University of Bath to detect dangerous psychoactive substances in vapes. Police also have a £12,000 handheld device which can test a substance and its purity by pointing it at a bag of drugs.
