Food Standards Scotland issued a public health warning ahead of the festive season, for retailers and consumers. Fake alcohol can contain toxic chemicals like industrial solvents, which pose health risks including nausea, dizziness, organ damage or even death. The effects of fake alcohol can be both immediate and delayed, making it particularly dangerous.
