Public Health Scotland shared that, in the quarter ending 30 September 2025, opioid substitution ‘therapy’ was prescribed to an estimated minimum of 26,312 (joint figures with PIS and HMUD estimate 27,696) people in Scotland, mostly in Glasgow. Future updates of these estimates will be released as part of the RADAR Quarterly Report.
